Biography

Dr. Gulsun Gul is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Medicine, Department of Comprehensive Care, and Assistant Professor at Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts Dental School.

Dr. Gul received her dental degree from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. She received her MBA degree from Suffolk Sawyer School of Management, MPH degree from Tufts Medical School, Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry Degree, and an MS Degrees from Tufts Dental School. Dr. Gul held responsibilities as Corporate Director for Hospital Operations, and Project consultant to many private and non-profit institutions including Bayindir Health Care Systems, Mother Children Education Foundation, Istanbul, Turkey (ACEV), and Health Care City Dental Clinic Project, Dubai. Dr.Gul's projects focused on creating integrated healthcare systems and value-based strategic planning for healthcare entities. Dr. Gul also held responsibilities as the Course Director in Epidemiology and Public Health, for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, at Tufts Dental School (2004-2008).She also was responsible for Community Health Center pediatric dentistry rotation for the undergrad dental students under Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She practiced as a Pediatric Dentist at the Forsyth Faculty Associates, at the Forsyth Institute between 2012-2018. Currently, she is the Director of Medically Complex Patient Clinic, teaching dental management of medically complex patients to dental students, and mentoring student research in the same discipline at TUSDM. She is a technology curator for Technology Conference CCI, ADEA since 2019. She is a member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American/International Association of Dental Research, AmericanDentalEducationAssociation.
