Biography

Mary Jane Hanlon, D97, is currently the Senior Vice President of Promethean Dental Systems, a Geogia-based company whose mission is to evolve dental education using innovation and technology. She was the past Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs from April 2014-June 2021. As a leader in education and organized dentistry, she has held various positions in the Massachusetts Dental Society and is a Past President. In addition, she serves in leadership roles for the First District Dental Society, which supports the New England states at the national level to the American Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Hanlon has served as a member of the American Dental Association Membership Committee and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a member of the Maine Dental Association since moving to Kennebunkport, ME, in 2015.

She has remained involved with Tufts as a reunion class co-chair and is the past co-chair of the Dental M Club.

Dr. Hanlon has a B.S. in biology from Worcester State College, an associate degree in dental hygiene from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists, an M.B.A. from Suffolk University, and a D.M.D. from TUSDM.
