Biography
Dr. Francesca Bonino is a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology. She holds a DMD from Boston University, a postgraduate certificate in Periodontology from Tufts and a Master of Science degree from Tufts.
Dr. Bonino teaches periodontology in the undergraduate clinic and remains deeply involved in research. Her main research interests are dental implants and patient-reported outcomes of dental treatment, which are key to improve the overall quality of dental care.
She also maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and dental implants. Dr. Bonino is a member of the American Association of Dental Research (AADR), American Dental Association (ADA) and the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS).
