Biography
Dr. Aruna Ramesh is a full-time Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, The Office of Academic Affairs has oversight on the development and implementation of an evolving predoctoral and postdoctoral curricula and its impact on educators and learners. Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to this she served as Chair of department of Diagnostic Sciences. The department housed the Divisions of Oral Medicine, Craniofacial Pain, Oral Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Cancer Biology/Tissue Engineering. She has been a faculty member at TUSDM since 2001. She received her MS in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry in 2000 and DMD from TUSDM in 2004. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR). She served as the elected Councilor of Scientific Affairs and Public Policy for the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR) from 2015-2020. She serves as the OMR commissioner of the ADA's National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and certifying Boards (NCRDSCB). She is involved with educational, research, patient care and administrative responsibilities. She has a private practice limited to Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
