Dental Perspectives on Orofacial Pain & Headache [Virtual]
This biweekly lecture series offers an in-depth exploration of the multifaceted nature of head and face pain from a dental and medical perspective. The program aims to equip dental and medical professionals with the latest insights, diagnostic tools, and treatment strategies for managing Craniofacial pain, including temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, myofascial pain, migraines, and other headache-related conditions.
Each session will delve into the complex relationships between medical and dental health, occlusion, and pain in the neck, head, and face region, highlighting how oral health professionals can play a key role in identifying, diagnosing, and managing these conditions. Expert speakers from various related healthcare specialties will share their knowledge on cutting-edge techniques, innovative therapies, and collaborative care models, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach to patient management.
Through case studies, interactive discussions, and evidence-based presentations, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms of Craniofacial pain and headache disorders and learn practical strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
