Biography
Dr. Parad attended the University of Pennsylvania and entered the healthcare field as a registered nurse. She went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated summa cum laude. Through the completion of Harvard School of Dental Medicine's general practice residency program, she gained exposure to treating medically compromised patients at Massachusetts General Hospital. She focuses on ensuring continuity of care through continuous interdisciplinary learning while integrating her nursing training into her dental practice.
Providing care to patients at Massachusetts General Hospital, Mass Eye and Ear, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, coupled with her passion for dentistry, solidified her commitment to integrating oral and systemic health care. Dedicated to teaching others while promoting health equity, Dr. Parad is excited to have returned to TUSDM as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Care to educate and mentor pre-doctoral students through didactics and patient care.
Dr. Parad's clinical areas of interest include dental care for medically compromised patients and hospital dentistry.
