Biography
Dr. Patricia Guerrero is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a board-certified specialist in Orofacial Pain. She completed her advanced training in Orofacial Pain at Tufts and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. Her clinical and academic work focuses on the diagnosis and management of temporomandibular disorders, neuropathic and neurovascular facial pain, sleep-related disorders, and other complex orofacial pain conditions. Dr. Guerrero is actively involved in predoctoral and postgraduate education, serves as a course director, and lectures extensively in orofacial pain and related topics. Her scholarly interests center on orofacial manifestations of systemic disease and diagnostic red flags in orofacial pain, with an emphasis on recognizing conditions that may mimic common dental and temporomandibular disorders and promoting interdisciplinary approaches to diagnosis and patient care.
