Biography

Nopsaran Chaimattayompol (Nui) received his first dental degree, D.D.S., from Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, Thailand in 1994, earned his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics in 1997 and fellowship certificate in Implant Dentistry in 1999 both from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). He later received his D.M.D. and M.P.H. from TUSDM and Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM), respectively, in 2003.

Dr. Chaimattayompol joined TUSDM as a faculty member in 1999. He is presently a Full Time Professor, Division Head of Prosthodontics and maintains his private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He has conducted many courses and directs Implant Dentistry in the Predoctoral Prosthodontics Program. Dr. Chaimattayompol holds a membership in the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, American College of Prosthodontists, International College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally as well as published several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Chaimattayompol's current research interests are implant overdentures and independent implant overdenture attachments and prosthodontic dental education.
