Biography

Dr. Lina Castellanos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). Dr. Castellanos received her first dental degree (DDS) from the University of Santo Tomas in Bucaramanga, Colombia. She completed her certificate in Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston. She also worked in private practice for 1 year before moving to the US.

She is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and she is a member of the Hispanic Dental Association (HDI) and received honors as a Section Resident Award at the American Colleague of Prosthodontics Massachusetts and a Student Travel Grant at the Academy of Osseointegration AO/OF.

Her clinical areas of interest focus on fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, restorative and surgical implant training, and digital applications, including Exocad for the prosthetic design of temporary crowns, digital wax up, and full arch implant prototypes and CoDiagnotiX for guided implant surgery and maxillofacial prosthetics.
