Biography
Dr. Khaled Shaikhi is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Medicine, Department of Comprehensive Care. Dr. Shaikhi received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) in 1999 from University of Bengahazi, Benghazi, Libya. He received his a Certificate of Oral &Maxillofacial Pathology in 2012 and an MS Degree in Oral Science in 2013 from The State University of New York at Buffalo, NY. He is a Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology with Fellowship in both Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine. Dr. Shaikhi held responsibilities as Quality Assurance Coordinator at University of Benghazi, Benghazi, Libya (2013-2016) and also held responsibilities as Chairperson, Department of Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, University Of Benghazi, Libya (2014-2016). Currently, he is providing medical consultation for medically complex dental patients. He teaches and supervises pre-doctoral dental students in the diagnosis and management of Medically complex patients, Course Director for Oral Health and Overall Health Rotation and Medicine-Pathology Case Discussion Rotation for under-graduate students, and Preceptor, Oral Medicine Postgraduate residents.
