Biography
Dr. Joanne M. Falzone is honored to be a faculty member in her Alma Mater. She was in the class of D'80. After spending many years in Private Practice, she came to TUSDM in 1996. She teaches in most of the Pre-clinical courses; she has Directed Dental Anatomy/Cranio-Facial Function1 for 11 years. She is a Fellow in both the American and International Colleges of Dentistry. Dr. Falzone is on the Tufts Dental Alumni Board of Directors; is a member on many of the Standing Committees in the school; is the faculty Advisor for ASDA, and has mentored her students for her 21 years in acadamia. She has won the Dean's Award for Excellence in teaching several times, and she has been chosen by the graduating class to "Hood" them on their graduation day for the past several years. Dr. Falzone is referred to by most of her students as "MaMa Falzone"- a name she is proud to be called!
