Biography
Dr Galburt has been in private practice for over 30 years (Prosthodontics). He has been a faculty member at Tufts since 1977. Currently his interests involve the improvement of Faculty - Administrative working relationships. Over the years he has observed five different dental school administrations each with a different styles of management. With each of these administrations faculty has become more involved in important decisions in clinical and educational areas. In 2015 he and his colleagues together with Dean Huw Thomas formed the Faculty Advisory Council to the Dean. This council allows direct unfiltered communication with the senior administration and has maximized faculty involvement in the direction of the school. In addition Dr Galburt was elected to serve on the Central University Faculty Senate. This senate has representatives from all the schools that make up Tufts.
