Biography
Dr. Francesca Bonino is a part-time Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology. She holds a DMD from Boston University, a postgraduate certificate in Periodontology from Tufts and a Master of Science degree from Tufts. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Bonino is involved in clinical and didactic teaching. She also participates in clinical and educational research. Her main research interests are soft tissue around dental implants, peri-implant disease, and patient-reported outcomes of treatment.
Dr. Bonino maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and dental implants in the Greater Boston Area. Dr. Bonino is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), American Dental Association (ADA), the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), the Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association (MHDA), and the American Academy of Dental Science (AADS).
