Biography

Dr. David Bardwell is a 1985 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD degree. Additionally he did his postgraduate training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine receiving his Masters in Dental Science (research). He is a clinical professor in the Department of Comprehensive Care, Division of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Bardwell has and continues to conduct Dental Research in the area of Dental Biomaterials. He has presented papers and abstracts at IADR & AADR annual sessions. He has published many scientific articles in per review journals in the area of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry as well.

Dr. Bardwell lectures nationally in the areas of adhesive dentistry specifically techniques for successful direct and indirect posterior composites. He also bases his interest in Treatment Plan modalities and instruction for successful porcelain laminate veneers and the impact on smile design. Dr. Bardwell has devoted extensive time and research in the area of tooth lightening (bleaching), efficacy, safety, and its integration into contemporary dental practice. He maintains a Private Practice in North Andover, MA in restorative and esthetic dentistry in addition to his collegial responsibilities. He is a Fellow in the American and International College of Dentists as well as a member in good standing in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. He maintains a position as a scientific reviewer for The Journal of Operative Dentistry.
