Biography
Dr. Boris Bacanurschi, DMD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Operative Dentistry Division of Comprehensive Care Department at Tufts. He received his B.S. from the University of Toronto and his Magna Cum Laude DMD degree from Tufts in 2006. Upon graduation, he joined his TUSDM professor Dr. John Meade's (BS'52, D'56) private practice in Medford near Tufts campus. Dr. Bacanurschi treats many faculty, athletes and students from Tufts. Dr. Bacanurschi started to teach in 2008 as a clinical volunteer instructor. He currently serves on CODA (Commission on Dental Accreditation) Radiology Review Committee and is a past Chair of North Metropolitan Dental District of Massachusetts Dental Society. He is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, Tufts Tisch College of Civic life, and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, ADA, MDS, ADEA. He volunteers at St. Boniface, St. Rock's and GSL dental mission trips to Haiti, Peru and Dominican Republic.
