Predoctoral Education
The aim of the pediatric dentistry predoctoral program is to introduce students to basic principles of pediatric care and teachings through lectures, workshops, and clinical rotations. Pediatric instruction is offered to students in the second, third, and fourth years of dental studies.

Postdoctoral Education
The advanced two-year Certificate of Achievement Program in Pediatric Dentistry trains dentists in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. To fulfill this mission, students are educated in the biomedical and clinical sciences needed to provide both primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs.
In addition, our new fellowship is provided focused training in areas, such as cleft and craniofacial care, traumatic dental injuries, pediatric endodontics, and other specialized interests. The program is designed to prepare emerging leaders for academic and clinical excellence in pediatric dentistry.
