Dr. Dean Cohen is an Assistant Clinical Professor who has been worked at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for 15 years. Formerly in the Restorative Department and now in the Department of Comprehensive Care, Dr. Cohen teaches in Preclinical Dental Anatomy, Craniofacial, & Fixed/Removable Prosthodontics as well as in the Undergraduate Restorative Clinic.
Dr. Cohen graduated from Syracuse University in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Pyschology. In 1985, he graduated from Tufts Dental School with his DMD degree & then completed a Dental GPR at Western Mass. Hospital & Baystate Medical Center located in Springfield, Mass. Following his GPR, Dr. Cohen served in the US Navy Dental Corps as a Lieutenant at Long Beach Naval Station in Long Beach California. He received a Letter of Commendation from his Commanding Officer for outstanding dental service to our US Military. While in private practice for almost 25 years, Dr. Cohen earned his Fellowship & Mastership Awards from the Academy of General Dentistry.
