Muslim Student Association (MSA)

The MSA is a student organization that fosters brotherhood and sisterhood amongst students of different origin, nationality, and ethnicity, with a single belief in God (Allah), the prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, and the final testament (The Qur’an).

The MSA strives to provide the Tufts community with a variety of services including:

  1. Fostering a greater understanding of Islam with an aim of clearing common misconceptions.
  2. Disseminating the Islamic knowledge among Muslim students to enrich their faith and further develop their self to become better Muslims.
  3. Offering various social events throughout the year.
  4. Organizing numerous community service programs to serve the Greater Boston community.

The MSA has been central in organizing Friday prayer each week with the Tufts Medical MSA. Other activities include Ramadan iftars, Taraweh prayers, Eid lunches, and social events with the other Dental MSA chapters in Boston.

While students get busy with day to day packed schedules, the MSA tries to help fulfill the spiritual aspect of life during dental school.
