Dr. Charles J. Ruff is primarily responsible for supervising orthodontic residents in their treatment of orthodontic clinic patients. His special clinical interests are TADs, fixed retention, MBT mechanics, and orthognathic surgery. He also lectures on practice management and selected clinical issues.
Dr. Ruff is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as the New England Society of Orthodontists and the Maine Orthodontic Association. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the College of Diplomates. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association. He also is a founding member and long term program chair for the New England Orthodontic Study Club. He is a reviewer for the Angle Orthodontist.
