Dr. Marcel Korn is an Associate Clinical Professor and has been a member of the faculty since 1972. He teaches a course on “‘Postural Orthodontics” to first and second residents and also lecturers on early treatment, segmental mechanics, adult treatment and temporomandibular disorders.
He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), a DMD and a Certificate in Orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board, a member of the Angle Society of Orthodontists and a fellow in the International College of Dentists. Dr. Korn was also the orthodontic consultant to the Gelb Craniomandibular Pain Center at Tufts. He is a senior consultant and lecturer for the American Orthodontics Corporation. Dr. Korn’s main interest is clinical research and treatment related to a philosophy he calls ”Postural Orthodontics”. Postural Orthodontics is concerned with the early treatment of malocclusion in children, and the management of adult problems via a fixed-functional and postural approach.
