Traveling

By Plane

All flights to Boston arrive at Logan International Airport. There are subway and taxi connections available at Logan Airport. To access Boston’s subway system (the T), take airport shuttle #22 or #33 to the Airport T stop on the Blue Line or the SL1 bus (Silver Line) to South Station. For additional information on the subway system, please visit www.mbta.com.

By Bus or Train

Applicants interested in traveling by bus or train should plan to use South Station as their destination. South Station is about a 10 minute walk (8 blocks) from the Dental School. Upon exiting the Station, walk south on Atlantic Avenue to Kneeland Street and turn right. The Dental School will be on your left, directly across from the McDonald’s. By Subway (The T)

The closest T stop to the Dental School is Tufts Medical Center on the Orange Line. To access the Orange Line:

  • From the Red Line – Change at Downtown Crossing
  • From the Blue Line – Change at State Street
  • From the Green Line – Change at Government Center to Blue Line or change at Park Street to Red Line, then proceed to Orange Line via routes listed above

On arrival at Tufts Medical Center T Stop, exit the T station and turn left, walk down Washington Street towards the intersection with Kneeland Street. The Dental School building will be across the street to the right. Cross at this intersection.

By Car

We strongly encourage applicants to use public transportation, as Boston traffic can be quite challenging. For the most updated directions, please click here. Should you choose to drive, parking is available in the Tremont Street garage adjacent to the Wang Center and the Floating Hospital for Children. As well as other public lots in the area. Traffic – Rush‐hour traffic in Boston can be very time‐consuming. Be sure to plan extra time into your interview day commute.

Winter Weather – Boston typically experiences winter weather throughout our interview season. Applicants should plan accordingly in case of travel and traffic delays.
