Financial Aid – Postgraduate Programs

If you are looking for DMD/DIS financial aid information, please click here.

Postgraduate students who are US Citizens or Permanent Resident and who are enrolled in accredited post-graduate programs may apply for the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan and/or the Federal Direct Grad PLUS Loan to cover all or part of their yearly cost of education.  Foreign students may apply for private education loan programs with an eligible US Citizen or Permanent Resident acting as co-borrower.

Students applying for Federal Direct Loans must complete the financial aid application requirements as outlined in the Post-Graduate Financial Aid Manual and summarized on the Post-Graduate Financial Aid Application Checklist.  Please note that completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to be considered for these programs.  Post-Graduate students should not include parent information when completing a FAFSA.  The suggested financial aid application deadline for Post-Graduate students is April 1st each year.  Students seeking private education loans should begin the process of applying for these loans by May 1st each year.

Educational costs for Post-Graduate Certificate Programs are included in the tables below.  Please note that additional tuition charges apply to combined or joint certificate programs with Masters of Science.

The following drop-down menu contains all necessary forms and instructions for post-graduate students applying for financial aid.  Please refer to the Post-Graduate Financial Aid Manual and Post-Graduate Financial Aid Application Checklist for more complete instructions.
