- Complete signed photocopy of student’s (and spouse if applicable) and parent’s US Tax Return including all schedules and W-2 forms from year preceding the academic year in which the student will be attending.
The deadline for financial aid applications is May 1st each year. All required forms are due in the Financial Aid Office by May 1 in order to be considered for the most favorable aid programs. Students who meet the deadline will be considered for the most favorable types of assistance.
Students are urged to begin application procedures as soon AFTER January 1 as possible. Application packets are mailed usually in mid to late December to students that have already paid the admissions deposit. Students must re-apply for financial aid each year.
In order to be considered for Tufts Loan, HPSL, and Tufts Grant, the student is required to submit parent information on the Profile application and on the FAFSA form, as well as parents US Tax Return and W-2 form(s). Students who wish to apply for Federal Perkins, Federal Stafford and Grad PLUS loan programs only can do so. These students do not need to complete the Profile Application or submit a copy of their parent’s tax return. Only student income and asset information must be supplied on the FAFSA form to apply for these particular programs.
