3rd Year Residents

Nora Alhazmi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she earned her BDS degree from King Saud University, College of Dentistry. In 2012, she became a teaching assistant at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University in Riyadh. Nora considers herself a sports fanatic. She enjoys running and cycling in her free time. Besides sports, she enjoys traveling. Her family and friends are number one in her life.
Ruba Alkadhi was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She earned a bachelor degree in dental medicine and surgery from King Saud University in 2013. Afterwards, she worked as a teaching assistant at KSAU-HS in Riyadh. She joined Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2014 in the combined orthodontic/Master of science program. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, jogging and spending time with her friends and family.
Isabel McQuattie Isabel McQuattie was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she earned a Bachelor degree in Dentistry at Universidad Santa Maria. After graduation, and following her passion for Orthodontics, she worked for four years as an orthodontic assistant and as a volunteer in Operation Smile Venezuela treating patients with cleft lip and cleft palate. She came to Boston in 2013, and she is currently enrolled in the Orthodontic/Master of Science program at Tufts. In her free time, Isabel enjoys dancing Flamenco, singing, jogging, and spending time with her family and friends.

2nd Year Residents

Nora I. Alamer is from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at King Saud University in 2011. She then completed a Masters of Public Health and Craniofacial Fellowship at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, while treating cleft lip and palate patients. Following this, Nora moved to New York City to complete a Dental Public Health degree at Columbia University. Nora enjoys cooking, shopping, traveling, and bowling with her husband. She intends to join King Saud University after she completes her orthodontics training at Tufts.
Mohammed Barashi was born and raised in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He earned a Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery degree from King Abdulaziz University in 2013. Afterwards, he worked as a teaching assistant in the orthodontics department at Umm-Alqura University, Makkah. He joined Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2014 for a one-year orthodontics internship, and is now a full-time resident. In his free time he enjoys watching soccer games as well as visiting friends and family.
Tanguy Canonge was born and raised in the South of France where he earned his dental degree from Montpellier University. Two years of his dental studies were completed at McGill University in Montreal and University of Laval in Québec, Canada. Tanguy enjoys watching movies, running, travelling, and spending time with his family.
Diana Esshaki grew up in Brookline, MA. Diana earned her B.A. from Boston University in Classical Civilization and Biology. She received her Master’s of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts, and her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. For the last four years, Diana served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she supervised the training of dental students in oral health care management of the medically complex patient population. She also maintained a private practice in the financial district of Boston. When she isn’t working, Diana enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending time with her husband and little Yorkshire terrier.
Christopher Lin, the son of two dedicated dentists, grew up in Belle Mead, New Jersey. He earned his B.A. in Biology and his D.M.D. at Rutgers University in a combined seven-year program. Chris loves to cook and eat especially different cuisines. He also enjoys exercising, fishing, and travelling.
Natalie Pinckney grew up in Clifton Park, NY. Natalie earned her B.S. from Cornell University in Food Science in 2010, and her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. Natalie enjoys running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family and friends in her free time
Jordan Seetner is from Toronto, Canada. He received a Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s University, Canada, and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Jordan is a certified tennis and ski instructor, and thoroughly enjoys weight-lifting, the Economist, and travelling abroad.
Kyung Won (Kate) Seo lived in South Korea until the age of 15. She earned a B.S. from Washington University, St. Louis, and a D.M.D from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She then moved back to her home country, where she worked as a general dentist for several years and completed an M.S. in Orthodontics at Kyunghee University School of Dentistry. Kyung Won spends most of her free time with her 17 month-old son who loves explore the world around him. Otherwise she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband.

1st Year Residents

Gina Gill grew up in Chappaqua, NY. Gina earned her B.A. from New York University and studied environmental studies, mathematics, and studio art. Gina earned her D.M.D. from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Gina enjoys fishing, reading, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
Duntan Babarinde was born and raised in Nigeria. She moved to the US for undergrad at University of Houston, Texas (GO COOGS!) where she earned her BSc. in Health Education. She earned her DDS degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in D.C. Duntan enjoys running outdoors, hiking, spinning, dancing and watching TV shows. She also loves to travel to other countries, spend time with family and friends, and knows the lyrics to one too many songs :).
Janice Lee grew up in Saratoga, CA. She earned her B.S. in Microbiology from University of California, Davis, D.M.D from Tufts University and Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from NYU Lutheran-San Jose. Janice enjoys eating, traveling, and spontaneous dance parties.
Paul Shamirian grew up in Cranston, RI. Paul earned his Sc.B. degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Brown University in 2012 and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2016 graduating cum laude. In his spare time Paul enjoys tennis, trivia, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
Katharina Fung grew up in Oak Brook, IL. Katharina received both her B.S. in Biology and D.M.D. degree from Tufts University. She enjoys skiing, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and little puppy Hazel.
Samantha Tagerman grew up in Newton, MA. Samantha earned her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University where she also studied Business and Spanish. She then received her D.M.D. from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 2016. Samantha is an avid Boston sports fan and in her free time she enjoys exercising, waterskiing and reading.
Adam Hoina grew up in Long Island, NY. He earned both his B.S in Biology and M.S in Biophysics from Stony Brook University. He completed his D.M.D at Rutgers school of Dental Medicine in 2015 and a General Practice Residency at NPVAH in 2016. Adam enjoys surfing, skiing, fishing, sporting clays and working out. Adam makes the Dos Equis guy look like “The least interesting Man in the World”.
Mosaab Hawsawi was born and raised in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He earned a Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery degree from King Abdulaziz University in 2013. Afterwards, he worked as a teaching assistant at Umm-Alqura University, Makkah. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, basketball, exercising and doing Yoga and travel as well as hanging with friends and family.
