What to Expect -Spring and Summer 2008

Through careful planning, we have tried to anticipate any inconveniences caused by the expansion process.

• Elevators: Two elevators (numbers 10 & 11) will be removed from service on July 28, 2008. They will remain out of service until early 2009, at which time two new elevators will become active. Elevators 8 & 9 will then be taken out of service. At the end of the project, the four new elevators provide service to all fifteen (15) floors. To minimize elevator waits during busiest times, we ask that students, staff, and faculty use the stairs whenever possible.

• Restrooms on alternating floors will be periodically out of service during the spring of 2008. Signage near the elevators and on restroom doors will direct you to the nearest facility. On 7/12/08 the restrooms on the 6^th and 8^th floors will return to service. On Monday, 7/14/08, the restrooms on the 5^th and 7^th floors will come out of service for upgrades.

• The 11th floor will be left free to accommodate future growth and provide a buffer for the floors below during construction.
