General Dentistry
The Department of General Dentistry's mission is the teaching of dental students by increasing their diagnostic skills through mentored learning in small group practices closely supervised by caring and dedicated faculty.
T achieve this goal the Department has been organized into divisions each involved in the building blocks required to transform the student into a true dental professional capable of the delivery of high quality ethical and caring dentistry. In addition we try to foster in our students the value of civic engagement and leadership skills that will be the foundation of their future dental careers.

Noshir R. Mehta, DMD, MDS, MS, FICD, FACD, Chair and Professor
Patty DiAngelis, Department Administrator, Patty has been with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine since 1993. Patty provides administrative support to the Chairman, Division Heads and Faculty of the Department of General Dentistry.
