The 5th annual Tufts HPSP Senior night was held in the Alumni lounge during the evening of May 9, 2011. Air Force, Army and Navy representatives were on hand along with Dean Norris to recognize those seniors who are entering military service upon graduation this month. Dean Norris' own military service was emphasized by the "pinning" of dental corps insignia by Dean Gonthier and Carrie Garinger of Student Services. Dr. Rankin also presented a power point showing HPSP activities of the past year as well as stressing the past military service of present faculty members; Drs. Frank Odlum, Sam Thomas, Barry Briss, Robert Rudy, Paul Vankevich and Arthur Weiner as well as Lee Gant of Student Services. Each graduating senior was presented with a National Defense ribbon, rank insignia and dental corps device.
